Our Beginning

Dhorpatan Club Australia was established in 2017 by three passionate Nepali youth in Sydney who shared one strong love — volleyball. What began as a simple dream to play and grow together soon became a powerful mission: to build a strong, united volleyball team and a connected Nepali community across Australia.

Our Purpose

From the very beginning, our goal has been more than just winning matches. We aim to:

Develop young talent in volleyball
Promote teamwork, discipline, and leadership
Bring Nepali youth together through sport
Strengthen the Nepali community across Sydney and Australia

Our Journey (2017–2026)

Over the years, Dhorpatan Club Australia has grown beyond expectations. By 2026, the club has:

        Won dozens of youth and community volleyball matches and tournaments
Connected large numbers of Nepali people across Sydney and Australia
Built a strong reputation for teamwork, sportsmanship, and unity
Created opportunities for young players to grow on and off the court

      

Looking Ahead

Our vision for the future is to continue expanding, mentoring new players, organizing bigger competitions, and representing the Nepali community with pride across Australia. Volleyball is our game — but community is our heart.
